Steven Spielberg has said that music and sound is half the movie experience. It's at least that much of the modern videogame experience, if not more. Why do some guns in games feel so powerful and damaging, while others feel weak? How can some racing games convey such a powerful sense of speed and danger? How do some horror games manage to scare us so much? Listening to various examples from different genres of games, attendees will learn how great sound design, music and dialogue makes good games great. Hosted by Ed Lima.
